I just wanted to remind everyone about the very important Cycle for Angels ride this Sunday May 31st. If you ride a bike, or know someone who does, or just want to support efforts to make cycling safer in our community, please join the hundreds of other riders to help promote safe cycling in our region. If you do not already know Cycle for Angels is an annual family and kid-friendly 3 km bike ride in Uptown Waterloo to promote “sharing the road” and to remember those hurt or killed while cycling. The event is led by members of Waterloo Regional Police Services and begins at 2 pm in the CIGI parking lot at Caroline and Father David Bauer Drive. The ride is free – all they ask is that you wear a helmet and a white shirt. |
I hope many if not everyone will be able to attend!
